Doug Fletcher began his legal practice as an Assistant District Attorney for Dallas County from 1978 to 1981, and was involved in the prosecution of over 300 criminal jury trials. Since 1981, Mr. Fletcher has specialized in defense litigation, successfully defending companies throughout the State of Texas in all areas from product liability, premise liability, security, construction and transportation, trying over 130 trials to verdict. For the past ten years, Mr. Fletcher has also maintained a practice in the defense of municipalities, school districts and other governmental entities.
Mr. Fletcher is a trained mediator and commonly represents clients in complicated settlement negotiations. Mr. Fletcher regularly addresses various professional associations on a variety of topics including successful mediation techniques.
